Well, as they say, there are no dumb questions, so in that frame of mind, I am interested in seeing if anyone here, or someone that you may know has any information on operating a business in the UK, as I want to take a model here in Seattle that is working really well and move it to the UK.

The idea is for a chain of espresso primarily take-out cafes that would serve a very high-quality espresso product, and this would be a totally new concept for much of the UK. I have almost a decade of experience in owning and running cafes here in Seattle, and the opportunity to start one in the UK, where I could earn the pound is one that is just too much to pass up.

So, if anyone has any first-person information on business ownership in the UK, I'd love to hear it.
