Mobile Technology Project

topic posted Wed, June 1, 2005 - 8:37 AM by  Brian
We are currently developing an application for mobile communications that will function much better than the current short code system "idol04" and will not have the 6 character limitation.

We are in need of Angel or Venture capital to launch this project that can easily generate well over $200 million in revenue.

Can anyone tell me where we can start looking for an investment of about $2.5 million?

    Hi Brian,
I'm trying to understand your request here and help you.

Are you guys a Corp, LLC or just good friends?

#2 Do you need a Angel investor or Venture Capital?
    Because your application(*for mobile communications)
should be your Venture Capital Vehicle I.E.- The reason why people send you the check.

#3 What have you guys done that the Japanese haven't thought of?(Last time I was in Tokyo they had cell phones that you could web-conference on.)* I.E.- look at the guy while he was talking and he could look at you.

Then again that could be part of your MKTg strategy - Invest in Domestic Technology? (That has a nice ring to it. And could rally the Homegrown Money.)

So quick answer would be If you guys aren't a Corp,LLC or Biz.
Start pitching those near to you (Corps,LLC's Or BIZ)on your application.

And if you are one of the above named then talk to a SEC attorney and start raising the capital yourselves, but ...
You need a host of things to make that happen for someone or group to cut you a check for 2.5 mil, without you guys having a board of directors, numbers or percentages on ROI for the quarters, or a exit strategy for the investors.

It doesn't look good. (Need more info)
