I'm curious if anyone has had any luck getting an SBA loan?
Does it help to have a partner? And are you at risk of getting rejected if your business plan is put together "too well" ?

Mon, March 20, 2006 - 4:39 PMIn reading your note Sean, I was actually surprised by how dead-on the Google ads at the bottom of the page seem to address your question. Not sure how reliable those buying keywords here will be, but may be a start to getting your question answered. -

Re: SBA loans
Wed, April 26, 2006 - 11:58 AMSean, I have known a number of people that have worked with the SBA to get loans. Keep in mind - they do not give the loan itself, but sign for the loan from a bank that is already interested in giving you that loan.
The SBA wants to see two years of operation for the most part, or if you have not been in operation, then a number of years successfully operating in the same industry
Just go on into your local SBA office and they can give you all of the info that you need in a few minutes.
Good luck.
